Unit conversion is applied once at import. After that the part stays at physical scale; the generator does not shrink it to fit a cell.
Rack architecture
Select the overall packaging architecture. Base construction is controlled separately below.
Dual-side load is a loading configuration, not a rack type. Flipper, tower, shelf, glass and other compatible concepts can mirror dunnage around the centerline.
Low profile and truss / GM style are separate architectures. Notched versions use a rectangular 90° plan-view recess in the short side rails, away from the primary crossmember direction. Bin and tote families use their own molded/fabricated base and hide this control.
4-way fork accesssame C-C spacing on all sides
One center-to-center setting drives the fork geometry from all four sides. Orthogonal 2 × 2 support tubes remain in the base for a continuous structural load path.
Turn on for a rolling base. WIP dolly concepts enable casters automatically.
Enabled by default for rack families and attached to the folding upper post on collapsible racks.
Packout
The packout engine will duplicate the uploaded model to this target.
Used to evaluate and display spacing. Final clearance requires engineering review.
Auto-orient tests multiple axis rotations and chooses the largest usable fit.
Contact / fit
0.25 in intentional gap. Generated contact pads stop outside the part instead of intersecting it.
Rack envelope
Auto-fit grows a footprint when needed and trims excess top space. Manual dimensions, dunnage, spacing, and callouts regenerate immediately.

Reading geometry.
Concept limitations: The rack is procedurally generated around the imported part geometry and requested density. Physical model scale is preserved after the selected unit conversion. Generated steel is intentionally kept outside the part bounding volume and only designated soft pads/rollers approach the commodity. Clearance/contact logic is still conceptual and this build does not validate structural loading, weldments, dynamic transportation forces, ergonomics, or production feasibility. PSS engineering review remains required.
